The offer

$40-$50 per hour while casual

Casual for the first 3 months, then permanent full time — part-time considered for the right person

Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:45pm. No weekends, no nights. Occasional early start.

Company van provided, fuel paid, and you take it home. No depot start.

Brisbane sites, with the Southbank Cultural Precinct as your main patch

What you'll be doing

Patch and paint

General carpentry and building repairs

Reactive and planned maintenance across plant rooms, back-of-house and public areas

Clear updates, photos and completion notes after each job

Somewhere to go. As we take on more sites, this role becomes the lead of a maintenance team. There's also a pathway to being nominated on our QBCC licence — a credential that stays with you for life.

How we operate.

Our business is built on a book called Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara — the idea that looking after people properly, clients and each other, is the actual job. We'll give you a copy when you start. It's not a poster on the wall; it's how we expect to treat you, and how we expect you to treat our clients.

What we're looking for

Strong general handyman and property-maintenance skills

Sound practical judgment and problem-solving ability

Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently

Clear, professional communication with clients and our team

Confidence to identify when specialist trades are required

Pride in your workmanship, your presentation, and leaving a site clean

Current driver's licence

Willing to complete a police check — required for precinct access

Experience in commercial facilities maintenance will be highly regarded, but attitude, judgment and reliability matter just as much.
