Machine Operator – Afternoon Shift | Packaging Department

We are hiring Machine Operators for our Packaging Department afternoon shift in a permanent, full-time position. Candidates must have machine operating experience and work with our production team in a manufacturing environment.

About the Role
n As a Machine Operator within Smallgoods Pack, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating production and packaging equipment while maintaining quality, safety and production standards.
n You will initially complete structured on-the-job training to ensure you are confident and competent across the required machinery and processes.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Set up, operate and monitor production and packaging machinery
n
- Complete machine changeovers and basic adjustments
n
- Identify and respond to machine faults
n
- Maintain compliance with product quality and food safety standards
n
- Complete required production and quality documentation
n
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
n
- Work with the Smallgoods Pack team to meet production targets
n
- Maintain work area according to hygiene and safety requirements
n
n
About You
n Candidates must have:
n
n
- Previous machine operating experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, or similar production setting
n
- Experience operating production equipment
n
- Ability to follow documented procedures and complete written documentation
n
- Availability for afternoon shift work
n
- Current or valid food handling certification (if required)
n
- Willingness to complete training and competency assessments as part of role requirements
n
