Wards Central Dining is a busy , leading local cafe around excellent food, great coffee and genuine hospitality . We are passionate about people and have an prospect for a hospitality focused all rounder with experience to join our team on a casual basis.

We're currently hiring 2 x casual, Front of House all rounders to join us behind the counter and on the floor.

n

We exist to serve, and we need help doing it.

n

The Role

n

This is a hands-on, service-led role working across counter and floor. You'll be:

n

Welcoming guests and looking after them throughout their visit

n

Taking orders, serving food and drinks, and keeping service flowing calmly

n

Working behind the counter, including POS and payments

n

Making coffee and beverages (or learning to)

n

Keeping the venue clean, organised and inviting

n

Working closely with the kitchen and FOH team to create a positive service environment

n

Casual approx 20 - 30 hours per week

n

A mix of shifts across the week

n

Morning shifts from 6:00am and afternoon shifts while the venue is open til 4pm

n

About You

n

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy hospitality. You might be:

n

A confident all-rounder who can run counter and floor with ease, or

n





A motivated learner with some hospitality experience who wants to grow

n

Experience in FOH hospitality

n

In both cases, you'll be:

Friendly, calm and attentive with guests

Reliable, organised and a good team player

n

Comfortable in a fast-paced but thoughtful service setting
