The Company

With a growing national footprint, this organisation is seeking to enhance and develop their integrated facilities management service offering. To add to ongoing strategic hires and continued success and growth they have need of an Estimator with expertise in facilities management to join their National team.

The Role

The Estimator will provide support to Business Development teams on a national level. You will play a key role in evaluating and justifying the viability of undertaking a bid and potential of ongoing successful delivery.

The Duties

- Develop, optimise and review pricing, labour, resource and financial models used in bids, renewals, repricing activities and operational improvement initiatives
- Prepare costings for tender submissions
- Work closely with bids and operations teams
- Undertake cost analysis for facilities management and life cycle works
- Perform risk assessment, value management and cost control exercises
- Site visits as necessary to compile accurate tender proposals
- Assist the Finance Team with commercial and contractual queries




- Create and implement a project plan to deliver bid requirements on time, monitor and report on bid process against plan and budget
- Ensure the timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids

The Criteria

- 2+years experience working in a Estimator capacity within a facilities management or building services environment
- You may also have an Analyst, Bids, BD or Pricing background as relevant
- Experience within sectors such as Cleaning, Catering, Pest Control, Hygiene etc.
- Preference is for an Accounting / Finance qualification or experience
- Must have good Excel skills and understand P+L
