Our client is an established Australian family-owned meat wholesaler and processor based in Ipswich QLD. The business supplies quality fresh and frozen products to manufacturers, retailers and commercial customers.

The Opportunity

n

Working across production, warehouse, logistics and procurement, you will combine hands-on quality checks with documentation, audit preparation and process improvement. This role suits an organised professional who enjoys being close to operations and seeing issues through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Maintain accurate quality, food-safety, WHS and operational records, registers and controlled documents.
n
- Coordinate audit evidence, certificates, corrective actions and compliance deadlines.
n
- Complete hygiene, temperature, traceability, packaging, labelling and product-quality checks.
n
- Support non-conformances, complaints, mock recalls, investigations and corrective actions.
n
- Assist with supplier, procurement, contract, WHS and fleet-compliance administration.
n
- Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, checklists and forms.
n

About You

n

n
- Experience in quality assurance, compliance, administration, logistics, procurement or WHS within an operational environment.
n
- Strong attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate, audit-ready records.
n




- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
n
- Transparent communication and procedure-writing skills.
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Food manufacturing, meat processing, warehousing, logistics or regulated-industry experience.
n
- Quality, Food Science, WHS, HACCP, food-safety or internal-auditing qualifications.
n
- Experience with controlled documents, audits or Chain of Responsibility requirements.
n
