Trade Account Manager — Advanced Trees & Plants

Evergreen Trees Direct is a national tree and plant brokerage based in Mornington. We source advanced and semi-advanced stock from growers across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland for landscapers, builders, councils and private clients — 45L hedging through to 2000L specimens, Waterhousea and Syzygium screens, Elaeocarpus, Angophora, craned-in Jacarandas.

We're expanding our trade desk and looking for someone senior to own it.

This is a hands-on role with real authority. Your own accounts, your own number, and the latitude to make the call on the phone rather than wait for approval.

What you'll own

n

Trade sales end to end: enquiry, specification, quoting, negotiation, close

n

Our landscape and construction accounts — projects run from $5,000 to $70,000

n

Pricing within a defined band, with genuine decision-making latitude

n

Client relationships that come back season after season

n

Input into the product catalogue and pricing structure behind our recent operations platform

n





What we're looking for

n

Real horticultural knowledge — you can specify correctly, talk cultivars and grades with a landscape architect, and tell a client when what they've asked for is wrong for the site

n

A track record selling into trade: landscape, nursery, building or garden supply

n

Someone who decides. This role carries responsibility and we want it used

n

Commercially sharp — you know a sale at the wrong price isn't a win

n

Confident with systems, and interested in helping shape better ones

n
