James Dowsley & Associates is a very reputable Criminal Law practice representing clients across Melbourne including the South Eastern and Bayside suburbs . We are currently looking for an experienced solicitor to join the team in our Dandenong office.

You will be responsible for:

n

Representing clients, principally at the Dandenong Magistrates' Court and Dandenong Children's Court

n

Analysing detailed Preliminary and Hand-up Briefs of Evidence, liaising with Counsel, Psychologists and other stakeholders

n

Conferring with clients, taking instructions and providing legal advice

n

Case management of high volume summary files in the Magistrates' Court and indictable files

n

To be successful you must have the following:

n





Admitted as an Australian Legal Practitioner

n

Exhibit explicit written and oral communications skills

n

Confident in courtroom representation

n

Exceptional client managements skills

n

Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic and a passion for social justice

n
