United Recruiting Solutions is seeking experienced Trade Assistants, Cabinet Makers, and Shop Fitters for casual positions based in Dandenong South, VIC. Our client is a well established market leader in manufacturing, Modifications & designs of shop fit outs and display Units. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing company in the Shop Fitting & Cabinet Making industry.

Standard hours will be 7:30am to 4pm Mon-Thurs with Friday finish 1pm.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Assisting with the construction and installation of cabinets and display units
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
n
- Utilising hand and power tools to undertake a variety of woodworking tasks
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
n
- Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality work
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
- Previous experience in a trade assistant, cabinet making, or shop fitting role
n
- Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical plans
n
- Knowledge of carpentry and woodworking techniques and methods
n
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
n
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
