As an Orthopaedic Nurse Consultant in NALHN you will provide specialist clinical consultation and evidence-based guidance across the orthopaedic patient journey.

Key responsibilities

- Delivering advanced clinical assessment and care planning for orthopaedic patients across acute and peri-operative settings.
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and supporting best-practice orthopaedic care standards within NALHN.
- Facilitating timely discharge planning and coordination with allied health and surgical teams.

- In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships.
- An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex setting is essential to this role.
