About the Prospect
We are seeking experienced Project Officers to support the operations of Project, Program and Portfolio Offices and contribute to the delivery of projects within the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD). This is an opportunity to work within a highly secure and complex Defence environment, supporting project teams across project administration, governance, financial management, planning and delivery activities. The role would suit a Project Officer who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and can bring strong organisation, communication and project coordination skills to a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Project Officer, you will assist with the coordination and delivery of projects,
including:
- Assisting with preparations for project test, evaluation and acceptance programs.
- Applying project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.
- Researching, drafting and preparing briefs, correspondence and reports, including submissions for committee consideration.
- Maintaining project financial records under the limited supervision of the Project Manager.
- Supporting project planning, scheduling and tracking activities.
- Providing project administration and coordination support.
- Supporting project governance, assurance and quality review activities.
- Assisting with the management of project risks, changes, quality, finance and configuration management as required.
- Working with project stakeholders to support project objectives and delivery outcomes.
