Our Client is looking for an experienced Aged Care Leader to join the management team of a well-established 100+ bed residential aged care home on the Central Coast.

n

You'll report directly to the Facility Manager and work alongside another experienced Care Manager, sharing clinical leadership across the home while still having genuine ownership and influence.

n

You'll also have access to strong quality, education and operational support through a large national healthcare organisation.

n

The role

n

This is a visible, hands-on clinical leadership position with a strong focus on developing people, maintaining high standards of care and driving continuous improvement.

n

You'll work closely with Registered Nurses and care teams to strengthen clinical capability, support complex decision-making and ensure residents receive safe, person-centred care.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Leading and supporting Registered Nurses and care teams
n
- Coaching, mentoring and developing clinical capability
n
- Overseeing resident assessments, care planning and clinical reviews
n
- Supporting AN-ACC processes and accurate clinical documentation
n
- Leading clinical audits, risk reviews and continuous improvement
n
- Reviewing incidents, complaints and changes in resident condition
n
- Maintaining strong medication management and governance
n
- Supporting complex care including wounds, pain and palliative care
n
- Working with GPs,



allied health professionals and residents' families
n
- Maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
n

What we're looking for

n

You'll be a confident clinical leader who can support teams, challenge standards when needed and build capability in others.

n

You'll need:

n

n
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
n
- Strong residential aged care clinical experience
n
- Previous leadership experience within an aged care environment
n
- Strong knowledge of care planning and clinical governance
n
- Experience with AN-ACC, audits and continuous improvement
n
- Strong communication, coaching and relationship management skills
n

Experience as a Care Manager, Clinical Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager, Deputy Director of Nursing or senior Registered Nurse would translate well.
