Our team provides legal advice to businesses, including reviewing operational processes, identifying gaps and helping clients develop controls that are practical and workable. We are looking for an experienced casino skilled who can bring the operational perspective to this work.

We are looking for someone who genuinely understands how a casino operates on the floor – not just from a policy or compliance perspective.

Our team provides legal advice to businesses, including reviewing operational processes, identifying gaps and helping clients develop controls that are practical and workable. We are looking for an experienced casino professional who can bring the operational perspective to this work.

What we need help with

You will work alongside our legal team to help us understand and assess areas such as:

- day-to-day casino floor operations and workflows;
- customer interaction from entry through to gaming and cash-out;
- table games and electronic gaming machine (EGM) operations;
- cage,



cashier and cash-handling processes;
- chip purchase, redemption and movement;
- TITO and ticket-based transactions;
- customer accounts and player loyalty systems;
- cash, card and other funding methods;
- large or unusual transactions;
- movement of customers and funds across different areas of a casino;
- interactions between gaming staff, surveillance, security, cage and compliance teams;
- operational escalation of unusual or suspicious customer behaviour;
- practical controls used on the casino floor;
- areas where existing controls can be bypassed or may not work as intended;
- identifying operational gaps that could create money laundering or financial crime exposure; and
- developing practical improvements that casino staff can realistically implement.

You may also assist us with process mapping, walkthroughs, control assessments, operational gap analysis, staff interviews, training scenarios and development of practical procedures for casino clients.

Who we are looking for

We are particularly interested in someone who has held a senior or experienced operational role within a casino.

You do not need to be a lawyer. Our team will provide the legal and AML/CTF expertise.

What is important is that you can explain what actually happens in a casino environment, where operational vulnerabilities arise, what staff see in practice and which controls genuinely work on the floor.
