- $86K Overview: Charlco Pty Ltd is seeking reliable and
hardworking Fruit Farm Workers to support daily farming operations.
This role involves performing a range of routine tasks associated
with the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of fruit crops.
The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining
high-quality produce and efficient farm operations while adhering
to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Patrol,
inspect, and report on the condition of crops to ensure optimal
growth and early identification of issues Plant trees, seeds,
seedlings, roots, bulbs, tubers, and vines using hand tools and
farm machinery Prepare and cultivate soil, and carry out crop
maintenance activities such as thinning, weeding, hoeing, pruning,
and training of plants Apply pesticides and other treatments to
control weeds, pests, and diseases in accordance with safety
guidelines Operate and monitor irrigation systems to ensure
adequate water supply for crops Install and maintain plant supports
such as trellises, and protective structures including netting,
greenhouses, and fencing Harvest produce including fruit, nuts,



and
vegetables according to quality standards, removing damaged or
overripe items Sort, grade, bunch, pack, and prepare produce for
storage or transport Load harvested produce into transport vehicles
safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and functionality of
farm infrastructure, including sheds, fences, and irrigation
systems Operate and maintain general farm machinery used for
cultivation, fertilising, spraying, and harvesting Use data
collection tools and farm technology systems to support farm
operations Skills and Experience: Previous experience in fruit
farming or horticulture (preferred but not essential) Ability to
perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments Basic
understanding of crop care, irrigation, and pest control practices
Ability to operate farm machinery and tools safely Strong attention
to detail and ability to follow instructions Positive teamwork and
communication skills Work Environment: This role involves working
outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires physical
labour, including lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks. ANNUAL
SALARY: $76K - $86K
