We are seeking an experienced physician with expertise in Ulcerative Colitis (UC) to develop a physician-facing survey for a specialized healthcare market research project.

You will combine your clinical knowledge of UC with healthcare or pharmaceutical market research experience to turn a structured research brief into a clear, clinically accurate, and professionally designed survey.

What You'll Do

n

- Review a research brief covering target cohorts, research objectives, screening criteria, and key areas of investigation.
n
- Develop a complete physician-facing Ulcerative Colitis survey from the provided brief.
n
- Translate research objectives into clear, clinically accurate, unbiased survey questions.
n
- Incorporate cohort definitions and screening criteria into the survey flow.
n
- Develop questions covering patient segmentation, disease severity, treatment pathways, therapy selection, treatment switching, clinical decision-making, and unmet needs.
n
- Create appropriate response options, scales, follow-up questions, and skip logic where required.
n
- Follow provided survey-writing guidelines and templates closely.
n
- Review the completed survey for clinical accuracy, logical flow, clarity, neutrality, and completeness.

Requirements

- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree, ideally with a background in gastroenterology or direct UC management.

- Strong knowledge of the Ulcerative Colitis treatment landscape, including disease assessment, treatment sequencing, biologics, targeted therapies, remission, and real-world physician decision-making.
n
- Previous experience developing healthcare or pharmaceutical market research surveys, questionnaires, discussion guides, or similar research instruments.
n
- Ability to translate research objectives into exact, answerable questions and appropriate response options.
n
- Strong understanding of survey design principles, including neutral wording, question sequencing, response scales, screening logic, and avoidance of bias.
n
- Ability to work from established examples and follow detailed survey-writing and formatting requirements.
n
- Excellent written communication, clinical judgement, and attention to detail.

Experience with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare market research firms, medical affairs teams, life sciences consulting firms, or healthcare insights organizations is strongly preferred.
