The requirements
- Part time – 2 month Contract of 24hrs per week – requiredroster:
- Week 1 – 0600-1430 on Monday, Wednesday, Saturdayand Sunday
- Week 2 – 0600-1430 on Monday and Wednesday
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Extensive cooking experience in a commercialenvironment
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of bulkcooking.
- Experience in ordering stock within budgetguidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal withdemonstrated interpersonal skills and empathy with olderpeople.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and meetingdeadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and supervise the work ofothers.
- An understanding of andan abilityto deal withWork Health and Safety issues.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinedteam.
- Commitment to workplace equity issues.
- Ensure the food service complies with the requirements ofthe NSW Food Authority
- First aid certificate
- Previous experience in the Aged Care Industry and/orrelated services
