Fleet Allocator (PM shift) - Refrigerated Transport (LTL & FTL)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated PM Shift Fleet Allocator to join our NSW Operations team based in Minchinbury.

This role is responsible for the coordination and allocation of our refrigerated transport fleet, covering both LTL and FTL operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring service levels, fleet utilisation, and customer expectations are achieved across our afternoon and evening operations.

The position will generally commence at 12:00pm and finish at 8:00pm, however flexibility is required to work additional hours as operational requirements dictate.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of temperature-controlled transport, a proven ability to manage complex allocations under pressure, and the communication skills to drive performance across drivers, customers, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and allocate daily fleet operations across LTL and FTL networks, ensuring efficient vehicle and driver utilisation.
- Monitor live operations to maintain on-time delivery performance and address any service issues proactively.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams,



and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve delivery challenges.
- Ensure Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management, and Mass Management compliance at all times.
- Validate load plans, manifests, and run sheets prior to dispatch.
- Collaborate with allocation and operations teams to ensure seamless shift handovers and service continuity.
- Monitor and manage overtime and subcontractor usage to maintain cost efficiency.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and contribute to ongoing safety and performance initiatives.
- Support and coach recent drivers and team members to uphold Minus 1’s service standards.

Skills & Experience Required

- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in refrigerated transport allocation (LTL & FTL preferred).
- Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and temperature-sensitive freight handling.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of CoR, NHVAS, and general transport compliance requirements.
- Strong focus on teamwork, accountability, and service delivery.

PM Shift Position

Standard hours 12:00pm to 8:00pm

Additional hours may be required based on operational requirements

Monday to Friday roster

Occasional weekend or public holiday coverage may be required
