Join Downer's team as a Water Meter Replacer and enjoy an active role working outdoors.
As part of a planned water meter replacement program, you'll visit residential and commercial properties to replace water meters using a company-provided mobile device. Successful applicants will be referred to one of our contracting partners, who will discuss payment arrangements, contract terms, and conditions in detail.
This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and delivering quality work. You'll be supported by a solid safety culture and a team dedicated to helping you succeed.
What we're looking for:
- Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management skills and reliability
- Friendly communication and customer service skills
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Current ABN
- Public Liability Insurance
- Availability to work Monday to Friday (Saturdays optional)
