We are seeking a full time Agricultural Machinery Assembler to join our team at our facility in Oakey, Queensland. As an Agricultural Machinery Assembler, you will be responsible for the precise assembly, testing, and quality assurance of agricultural machinery components and complete units.
Key responsibilities
- Assembling agricultural machinery components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Operating and utilising hand tools, power tools, and specialised assembly equipment with precision and safety
- Performing quality checks and inspections on assembled components and finished products to ensure they meet required standards
- Identifying and reporting defects, faults, or inconsistencies in materials or assembled products
- Maintaining a safe and organised work setting in compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
About you
- Proven experience in assembly work, preferably in manufacturing, agricultural,
or heavy machinery environments
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical assembly equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and work with heavy components
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders
- Reliable time-keeping and strong work ethic
- A valid driver's licence
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering, hydraulics, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing are advantageous
