Advanced Allied Health Assistant - Education and Training

We're excited to welcome an advanced Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to our education and training role for the AHA workforce.

This role contributes to high functioning multidisciplinary teams and total patient management by driving clinical assistant workforce development. Specifically, this role will focus on delivery of general orientation and induction for new AHAt staff; mandatory training across the workforce; and implementation of delegation training across a range of delegating disciplines (Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Orthoptics, Audiology) for new and rotational AHAs across the HHS. The role will also develop the wider education program for the AHA workforce and coordinate student placements and traineeships within the workforce.

Key responsibilities:

- Delivering general orientation and induction for new staff to the workforce and clinical areas.
- Monitoring mandatory and role requisite compliance as well as delivering and assessing Patient Handling, BLS and General Evacuation training.
- Maintaining the supervision register.
- Co-ordinating vocational placements (cert IV and AH diploma) and traineeships (school based and Deadly Starts).

Remuneration value up to $93,527 p.a., comprising salary between $76,076 - $81,972 p.a.,



employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
