THE PROSPECT

n

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians with robust industrial experience to join our team. These roles are based in Tarneit, Melbourne, and will be at the forefront of servicing a brand-new, large-scale automated warehouse for our customer.

n

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major project from the initial installation and commissioning stages through to operational go-live. You will provide high-level technical support, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve incidents and breakdowns. You will get to work on industry-leading material handling equipment such as automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors, racking, and robotics.

Initial working hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

- Trouble-shoot, problem solve, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
n
- Carry out equipment audits and preventative maintenance tasks
n
- Fault finding, including replacement of contactors, relays, field devices, etc
n
- Programming drives, scanners,



electronic control modules
n
- Troubleshooting PLCs
n
- Lubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors & gearboxes
n
- Undertake training of new technicians and operators (when required)
n
- Seek to reduce downtime and improve system reliability
n
- Identify operational and equipment improvement opportunities through ongoing investigation and root cause analysis of faults
n
