Trade Assistant - Roles & Responsibilities:

n

- Assist tradespeople with daily tasks, maintenance, repairs, and project work.
n
- Operate hand and power tools safely and competently.
n
- Prepare and maintain worksites, including cleaning, organising tools and materials, and ensuring safe access.
n
- Transport tools, equipment,



and materials around the site as directed.
n
- Perform general labouring tasks, including painting, cleaning, rubbish removal, and assisting with basic repairs.
n
- Support routine maintenance, including inspecting equipment, lubrication tasks, minor mechanical tasks, or helping with shutdown activities.
n
- Follow WHS procedures, report hazards, and ensure safe work practices.
n
- Work under direction of tradespeople or supervisors and complete tasks within timeframes. Assist with fault-finding, part replacement, and mechanical servicing (as directed).
n
- Perform basic data entry, follow equipment manuals, and assist in confined or awkward spaces when required.

Requirements:

n

- Valid Australian driver's licence
n
- White Card (construction/mining)
n
- Experience in Oil & Gas industry
n
- Basic WHS knowledge
n
- Forklift licence (highly regarded)
n
- Breathing Apparatus(highly regarded)
n
