About the Role

Based in Melbourne and reporting to the National Operations Manager - Critical Infrastructure, this role is responsible for the successful delivery of electronic security projects throughout Australia across Data Centres, Government and Class5 installations.

You will take ownership of projects from concept through to handover, managing all aspects of planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, financial performance, quality assurance and client engagement.

Working closely with clients, consultants, builders, subcontractors, technicians and PMT's national engineering and operations teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.

Your role will also have the support of the Critical Infrastructure General Manager as well as a National Sales team and internal National Technical Support Team and Pre-Sales Team who you will work collaboratively with to deliver efficient and high-quality projects.





Based in Melbourne within our Critical Infrastructure division, you'll take a hands-on approach to the successful delivery of electronic security projects across Data Centres, Government and Class5 installations, leading all areas of construction from concept through to hand-over.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Commercial Management

Manage the end-to-end delivery of electronic security projects from award through to practical completion and handover

Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring works are delivered on time and on budget

Manage project financial performance including forecasting, variations, procurement and cost control

Estimate project duration, resource requirements and budgets

Support tendering activities and business development initiatives where required

Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

Manage client expectations, variations, technical queries and project communications

Build and maintain solid relationships with consultants, builders, suppliers and end users

Technical & Operational Leadership

Coordinate technicians, apprentices and subcontractors throughout installation and commissioning phases

Mentor and support field teams while driving accountability, safety and quality outcomes

Provide technical guidance and problem resolution across enterprise security systems

Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and specialist contractors to ensure successful delivery outcomes

Quality, Compliance & Safety

Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with project scope, specifications and client requirements

Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reporting and project records

Ensure compliance with applicable security, regulatory and industry standards

Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure full compliance with WHS obligations across all project sites





Support projects operating within Government, Critical Infrastructure and high-security environments

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Project Manager with a background in electronic security, electrical or critical infrastructure projects and a proven history of delivering technically complex projects.

Significant experience in a Project Management role within the electronic security, electrical or construction industries

Demonstrated success delivering projects from concept through to handover

Experience managing projects valued between $500K and $10M+

Strong planning, organisational and coordination skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure

Current Victorian Security Licence (Mandatory)

Current Australian Driver's Licence

Full working rights within Australia

Highly Regarded

Experience delivering security projects within Data Centres, Government, Defence, Critical Infrastructure or Class 5 environments

Experience with Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Integriti, Lenel or equivalent enterprise security platforms

Security industry qualifications and/or manufacturer certifications

Experience using Simpro or similar project management systems

Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
