Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our fast-paced GP Medical Practice based in Springwood, on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, and working as part of a team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality patient experience as well as providing administrative support services to the clinical teams enabling them to run efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities of the role:

n

n
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the clinical teams;
n
- Delivering excellent patient management including maintaining patient flow, greeting patients, recording and updating patient information and ensuring a smooth journey to and from the reception area and consulting rooms;
n
- The successful applicant must have flexibility and be able to work anywhere between the hours of 8:00am to 7:00pm on weekdays and Weekends.

- proficiency with Microsoft applications/Tech Savvy
n
- A mature attitude and ability to resolve conflict in a positive and respectful manner

- Exceptional attention to detail
n
- Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information
n
- In addition, experience with Best Practice Software would be highly regarded.
