About the Role
n
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and support networks to assess needs, develop practical solutions, and improve independence and participation in everyday activities.
n
You will work across a diverse caseload spanning both NDIS and aged care services, supporting children, adults, and older Australians to achieve meaningful outcomes and maximise their independence.
n
Available as full time or part-time, with flexible working arrangements to suit the right candidate.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Conduct functional capacity and occupational therapy assessments
n
- Develop person-centred intervention plans aligned with client goals
n
- Recommend and prescribe assistive technology and home modifications, from low-cost/low-risk items through to more complex solutions
n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
n
- Prepare high-quality reports and supporting documentation
n
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and community partners
n
- Support clients to build independence, confidence, and participation in their daily lives
n
- Maintain accurate clinical records and meet compliance requirements
n
n
About You
n
Essential
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
n
- Demonstrated experience working with NDIS participants, including assessment, intervention planning, goal setting, and report writing
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
n
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing a community-based caseload
n
- A person-centred, strengths-based, and outcomes-focused approach to service delivery
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Experience across both paediatric and adult caseloads
n
- Experience conducting Functional Capacity Assessments and preparing supporting reports
n
- Knowledge of Assistive Technology and Home Modification recommendations
n
- Experience in aged care service delivery
n
n
