HOBAN Recruitment is seeking motivated and customer‑focused professionals for multiple APS3 Participant Support Officer opportunities within a large Federal Government organisation. About the Role

As an APS3 Participant Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for participants and stakeholders, providing professional support through face‑to‑face, phone and email interactions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving enquiries
- Providing frontline support in a busy office environment
- Managing participant and stakeholder enquiries via phone, email and in person
- Triaging and escalating complex matters to appropriate teams
- Maintaining accurate records and managing shared inboxes
- Making outbound calls to participants and stakeholders as required
- Supporting administrative, project and operational activities
- Conducting research and assisting with issue resolution
- Working collaboratively within a team to achieve service delivery outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and positive participant experiences
- Competitive pay rate of $38.89 per hour, including casual loading,



providing you with financial stability and recognition for your expertise.
- 12% superannuation to secure your future and support your retirement planning.
- ASAP start date to 31 December 2027 subject to client requirements, allowing you to embark on this exciting opportunity without delay.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in customer service, service delivery or the disability sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Empathy and professionalism when managing sensitive or challenging conversations
- Sound problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Flexibility and resilience in a changing and fast‑paced workplace
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes
- Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check

Please note you do need to be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN for this Federal Government role.
