Casual Farm Hand – Lemon Myrtle Farm | 3–4 Days/Week

Roogenic is looking for a reliable casual Farm Hand to join our working lemon myrtle and aniseed myrtle farm in Backmede, near Casino. Working alongside our Farm Manager, this is a practical, hands‐on role covering harvesting, processing and general farm work.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Harvesting lemon myrtle and aniseed myrtle
n
- Sorting and processing harvested leaf
n
- Milling dried leaf
n
- Mowing, whipper‐snipping, weeding and farm clean‐up
n
- General farm and equipment maintenance
n
- Helping with practical maintenance and improvement projects around the farm
n

About you

- Reliable and able to turn up when agreed
n
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
n
- Hardworking, practical and switched on
n




- Able to follow instructions and complete jobs carefully
n
- Safety‐conscious and able to use positive common sense
n
- Respectful and easy to work with as part of a small team
n
- Previous farm, labouring, landscaping or outdoor work experience is preferred, but not essential
n
- Additional practical experience such as mechanical or machinery maintenance, small engine or vehicle repairs, construction or trade work, or general repairs and practical farm projects is advantageous
