About the role
n
Diagnose, service and repair petrol and diesel light vehicles
n
Engine repairs and rebuilds (Hyundai and Kia specialisation an advantage)
n
Brake, suspension, steering and air-conditioning service and repair
n
Electronic diagnostics and fault finding
n
Vehicle safety inspections and roadworthy preparation
n
Skills and experience required
n
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification or experience)
n
Minimum 2 years experience as a motor mechanic in a workshop setting
n
Strong diagnostic skills across petrol and diesel vehicles
n
Automotive electrical experience an advantage
n
Salary: $80,000 per year plus superannuation
n
Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week
