Sitting within the HR team, you will take ownership of the fortnightly payroll for approximately 190 employees across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, variety and being the go‑to person for payroll.

$90,000 - $100,000 + Super | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a well-established international organisation based in the Sydney CBD.

Sitting within the HR team, you will take ownership of the fortnightly payroll for approximately 190 employees across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, variety and being the go‑to person for payroll.

The Role

- End-to-end fortnightly payroll across Australia & Current Zealand
- Process salaries, casual wages, commissions and incentive payments
- Manage timesheets, overtime and employee changes
- Payroll tax, STP,



superannuation and statutory compliance
- New starters, terminations and leave entitlements
- Month-end reporting and payroll reconciliations
- Assist with EOFY processes
- Identify opportunities to improve existing manual processes
- Provide ad hoc support to the wider HR team

About You

- 4+ years' end-to-end payroll experience
- Strong Australian payroll knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills - essential
- Payroll tax and compliance experience
- NZ payroll experience advantageous but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Polished, professional and confident dealing with stakeholders
- Positive, proactive and happy to get involved wherever needed
