About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Height Safety Installer to join and support our Installation and Recertification teams in Canberra. You'll be a keen learner and comfortable to work on heights to complete installation works in a safe and compliant manner. This role will require you to travel to client sites in Canberra and ACT as per the project requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the team in installation of height safety systems such as roof safety systems, anchor points and fall protection equipment on construction sites.
- Work closely with the team to execute tasks efficiently, following instructions from the Team Leader or Site Manager.
- Perform regular maintenance and checks on installed systems, making repairs or adjustments as required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment used are in valuable working condition and used safely during installation tasks.
- Supporting the team lead/supervisor with reporting tasks
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Working at Heights certification (RIIWHS204E or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year experience in installing height safety systems or trades background highly advantageous
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to travel various sites, work at heights in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and develop your installation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
