The Role
n
The IKON Waste team are looking for a night shift Hook Truck Driver working for the shifts
n
Day Shift – 5:00 AM – 1:06 PM
n
Night Shift – 10:00 AM – 6:06 PM
n
The role may require weekend work depending on business needs.
n
The Hook Truck Driver, will be responsible for providing timely waste collection services, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high-quality standard of work whilst acting as a Customer Service Ambassador for our clients.
n
Responsibilities Include
n
n
- Safely operating a vehicle across Melbourne
n
- Provide an effective essential service in collecting, carrying and disposing of a range of waste and recyclable materials
n
- Maintain a healthy and safe work environment
n
- Attend to basic maintenance of vehicles
n
- Complete pre and post vehicle checks
n
- Maintain a clean and safe operating vehicle
n
- Day-to-day documentation maintained in an accurate and timely manner
n
n
The Candidate
n
Thesuccessful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
n
n
- Current HR Licence
n
- Experience with Hook lift and/or Front Lift preferred
n
- Previous driving experience preferably within the waste industry
n
- Strong commitment to safety
n
- Must be flexible with start and finish times when required
n
- Excellent work ethic and a team player
n
n
All successful applicants will be required to undergo a full medical check and police check.
