We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Vehicle Tinting Assistant to join our team at Pacific Toyota Cairns.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our vehicle tinting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in automotive window tinting. While previous experience is preferred, it is not essential. Training and ongoing development will be provided for the right person, with the opportunity to build your skills, gain hands‑on experience and progress within the role.

You’ll work alongside experienced team members who will support your development as you learn the techniques and processes required to become proficient in automotive window tinting.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting our experienced vehicle tinting team
- Learning to accurately measure, cut and apply tinting films to vehicle windows
- Removing existing tinting films and preparing surfaces for new applications
- Preparing vehicles prior to tint installation
- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the tinting workshop




- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work environment
- Developing your skills and knowledge through practical, on-the-job training

What we're looking for

- Previous automotive tinting or similar trade experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A valid manual driver's licence
