Executive assistant / Office Administrator and HR Representative
We are currently seeking a reliable, self-motivated and professional Executive Assistant / Office Administrator & HR Representative to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role that will see you provide executive support to the Managing Director, administration support to the Office Manager and broader team, as well as assisting with HR, payroll and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be highly organised, approachable and proactive, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and adapt to the changing needs of a busy business environment.
Key responsibilities
- Providing executive and administrative support to the Managing Director.
- Supporting the Office Manager and broader team with day-to-day administration.
- Coordinating and booking travel arrangements.
- Processing monthly and fortnightly payroll.
- Assisting with HR management and administration.
- Maintaining employee records, HR systems and reporting.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation.
- Coordinating training and compliance requirements.
- Maintaining office supplies and general office organisation.
- Assisting with general administration and other business tasks as required.
About you
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office/365 and other business software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing business needs.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff, management, suppliers and visitors.
- Proactive, reliable and practical approach to supporting office and executive needs.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- HR and payroll experience, with Xero accounting experience or exposure highly regarded but not essential.

Flexible part-time hours
