As a Concrete Tester at Global Concrete Testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects across Melbourne. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this full time position will see you conducting a range of concrete testing and analysis in our state‑of‑the‑art laboratory. With a focus on delivering accurate and timely results, you will be an integral part of the team supporting the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

Performing onsite physical testing of concrete in accordance with Australian Standards 1012 and VicRoads Testing Standards

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all testing activities

Completing accurate field test records and submitting reports to clients within required timeframes

Ensuring timely delivery of samples to laboratories in line with NATA‑specified requirements

Participating in the ongoing development and improvement of testing methods and procedures

Providing support to clients as required

Assisting with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective laboratory operation

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a concrete testing role

Comprehensive understanding of concrete testing standards and procedures

A current manual driver’s licence, Construction White Card,



and valid Australian working rights (mandatory)

Competent computer skills for data entry and report preparation

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numerical data

Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues

Collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions‑focused approach

Ability to perform moderate lifting duties as required for field testing activities
