Brisbane Holiday Village is one of Brisbane's leading holiday destinations, known for exceptional guest service and resort-style facilities.
About the role
Working closely with our reception leadership, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, handling guest enquiries, coordinating group bookings, and completing daily reconciliation processes. You will report to the supervisor and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will help maintain high front-office standards and support the team during busy periods. This is a Key full-time position, scheduled across five days per week, and requires availability for weekday, weekend, and public holiday shifts within our operating hours.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, handle enquiries, and resolve issues calmly and professionally
- Manage bookings, process payments, and complete daily reconciliations
- Maintain reception checklists and ensure the desk is organised and ready each shift
- Assist with training new reception staff and uphold consistent service standards
- Use property management software; experience with NewBook or RTA processes is highly advantageous
- Step in to support reception supervising duties when required
- Work a versatile 5-day roster covering weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

- Mature, professional, and reliable with a steady presence
- Prepare to grow into reception leadership role if needed
- Quick learner who enjoys responsibility and takes initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm under pressure and able to handle guest issues with clarity and patience
- Organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple tasks
- Comfortable supporting the team and taking on leadership-style responsibilities when needed
- Solid computer literacy; NewBook or RTA experience is a strong advantage
- Committed to delivering excellent guest service and maintaining a professional front-office environment
