A well-established Australian funds management business is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow and deepen relationships across adviser market in NSW.

This is a genuine hunter-farmer role. You'll be responsible for raising and retaining capital across a suite of unlisted and alternative investment strategies, working closely with the broader distribution team to build the adviser client base.

What you'll own

- Driving new business and capital inflows across a defined territory and client segment
- Building and managing relationships with financial advisers, dealer groups, private wealth teams, and wholesale investors
- Representing the strategies with credibility — running meetings, presentations, and client events, and being a trusted point of contact
- Working alongside investment and product teams to translate strategy into a clear, compelling client narrative




- Maintaining a disciplined pipeline and contributing to the distribution team's broader capital-raising targets

What you'll bring

- Proven distribution or business development experience within funds management, wealth management, platforms, private markets, or a related asset class
- A robust existing network across the adviser and/or wholesale channel
- The commercial instinct to open doors, plus the relationship discipline to keep them open
- Confidence presenting to sophisticated investors and articulating complex strategies simply
- Self-motivation and a track record of hitting capital-raising or sales targets
