Position Profile and Role

We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our team.

As part of a multidisciplinary team provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients, as well as facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. Clinical Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

This recruitment process offers a Fixed Term Part Time contract for with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

We currently have 0.95 FTE (72 Hours per fortnight) available commencing December 2026 for 12 months appointment.

Peel Health Campus

Peel Health Campus transitioned to South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) in August 2024, marking the beginning of an exciting new era for healthcare in the Peel-Murray region. The transition has enabled significant investment in the future of local health services, including plans for a recent purpose-built public hospital on the existing site. Alongside the 192-bed Peel Health Campus, the Group includes Murray District Hospital, which provides inpatient medical, palliative care and allied health services. Together, these facilities support the delivery of high-quality care closer to home. The planned redevelopment will expand services, modernise facilities and improve access to healthcare for the growing Peel-Murray community.
