VisionPLUS & Vision Next Application Consultant

Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Application Consultant with solid hands-on experience inFIS VisionPLUS and Vision Next to support application modernisation, implementation and ongoing enhancement within banking and financial services environments. The role will work across business and technical teams to translate requirements into robustapplication solutions, with a strong focus on Vision Next.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional and technical consulting across FIS VisionPLUS and Vision Next.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into application solutions.
- Support the configuration, implementation and enhancement of Vision Next capabilities.
- Support the migration and modernisation of existingVisionPLUS capabilities to Vision Next.
- Work with architects, developers and business stakeholders to define application and integration solutions.
- Participate in application design, development, integration, testing and deployment activities.
- Investigate application issues, perform root-cause analysis and support resolution.
- Support integration between core banking applications and upstream/downstream enterprise systems.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications, application documentation and implementation artefacts.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, deployment and production support activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise across VisionPLUS and Vision Next capabilities.
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, developers, testers and delivery teams.

Experience & Skills

- Proven experience as an Application Consultant, Technical Consultant, Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Hands-on Vision Next experience is essential.
- Solid experience with FIS VisionPLUS.
- Experience within banking, financial services, cards, lending or payments environments.
- Understanding of VisionPLUS modernisation and migration to Vision Next.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration.
- Experience with APIs, interfaces and application integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical application solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation or technology delivery programs.
- Experience delivering Vision Next implementation or migration programs.
- Experience across multiple VisionPLUS modules.
- Experience with modern application integration technologies and APIs.
- Exposure to cloud-based technology environments.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Experience within large Australian banking or financial services organisations.
