Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing and Production Support Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing business based in Yatala.

This is a varied, hands‐on position supporting purchasing, inventory management and production scheduling. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and be confident using ERP systems and Excel.

Key responsibilities

n

- Raise and manage purchase orders
n
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery schedules
n
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate material requirements
n
- Support production planning and scheduling
n
- Review reports and identify purchasing or inventory issues
n
- Maintain accurate purchasing, stock and production data
n
- Use Excel to analyse information and prepare reports
n
- Update the ERP system and ensure records remain accurate
n
- Follow up outstanding orders and resolve supply issues
n
- Work closely with production, warehouse and management teams
n
- Help ensure materials are available to meet operational deadlines
n

About you

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n




- Previous purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
n
- A robust understanding of production processes and material requirements
n
- Experience using ERP or inventory‐management systems
n
- Valuable Excel skills and confidence working with reports and data
n
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data‐entry skills
n
- Excellent organisation and time‐management abilities
n
- Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal departments
n
- The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
n
- Experience with production scheduling would be highly regarded
n
- Experience using BOND or similar software would be advantageous
n
