About the role

Putt Putt Mermaid Beach are currently seeking to recruit Sales Assistants to join our fun and energetic team. The positions on offer is casual, working to a roster which will include nights and weekends.

No two days are the same at Putt Putt. The duties include:

- Opening and closing of the venue
- Selling Putt Putt admission and upselling
- Serving food and beverages, including alcohol
- Providing outstanding customer service at all times
- Cash handling, POS, Eftpos
- Attending to customer queries via phone and/or email
- Co-ordinating group and party bookings




- General cleaning of equipment and clubhouse

Who are we looking for?

We're specifically looking for candidates who are:

- 18 years or older
- Reliable and confident working independently, including closing the venue solo at night
- Available to work across the Christmas and New Year period
- Available to work nights and weekends
- Friendly, outgoing and confident, with a personality to match our entertaining venue
- Well presented, reliable and organised
- A team player who can also work independently
- Tee-riffic communicators!
- Positive and hard-working
- Someone who shows initiative and attention to detail
- Customer-focused, with a genuine interest in creating a fun and memorable experience for our guests

Skills & Experience

- Previous hospitality, customer service or similar experience (12 months or more preferred)
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Experience with POS, EFTPOS and cash handling is desirable
- Ability to remain calm and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable availability, including nights, weekends and the Christmas/New Year period
