One of our federal Government clients is seeking to engage ICT Content Writer for Canberra/Sydney/Melbourne locations.

Candidate must have Australian Citizenship

- Initial contract duration-12 months
- Extension term-24 months
- Experience level-APS4/5 Level
- Location of work-Canberra/Sydney/Melbourne - Hybrid

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation within ICT projects/environments
- High Level Designs (HLD), Detailed Designs (DD) and ideally As-Built documentation
- Business Requirements Specifications / requirements documentation, working directly with BAs
- Test Plans and Test Results — not merely proofreading documents created by testers
- Implementation Plans, deployment/transition documentation
- Operations Manuals, SOPs,



As-Built Documents
- User guides, training material, instructional documentation
- Evidence of collaborating with BAs, architects/designers, engineers/developers, testers, project teams and BAU/support teams
- Ability to understand complex ICT information and turn it into transparent, structured documentation
- Content creation, editing, document structure, templates, standards, version control/governance
- UX design level 3 requirement — content should be designed around user needs, accessibility and ease of consumption
- Research, identifying content gaps, style guides, accessibility guidelines; SEO is mentioned generically but is unlikely to be important for this AFP assignment
- AFP/APS/Commonwealth experience would strengthen the submission, particularly working in controlled/governed ICT environments
