Thisnon-for-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their Allied Health Team in providing exceptional care to NDIS Aged Care patients over 65 with Motor Neuron Disease or Kennedy's Disease.

Part time and Full Time Opportunities available.

Your Role:

You will be based in the clinic located near Rocklea and out in the community.



Your community-based work will be capped to a particular area to avoid lots of travel, and a company vehicle will be available for use for community visits.

Your role also involves billing a maximum of 5 clients a day face to face (25 billable hours a week) for full-time staff members, which will include report writing, face to face sessions, and travel. You will be required to install necessary home modifications and assistive technology, and occasionally prescribe wheelchairs.

Support Available:

- Admin support to take care of initial bookings and billing
- Fortnightly supervision
- Access to the DSC training to build your knowledge of the NDIS
- UNCAPPED professional development allowance

Qualifications:

- A background in the area of home modifications, assistive technology and wheelchair prescription is ispreferred but not essential
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Drivers licence and own vehicle
