What the Role Looks Like on Site

You will be part of a maintenance team responsible for the performance and reliability of refrigeration and HVAC systems across site infrastructure.

- Work safely in line with site procedures and permit systems
- Take ownership of maintenance tasks from start to finish
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a professional standard on and off shift

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems




- Servicing of split systems, ducted systems, and packaged units
- Installation of recent systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
- Preventive and corrective maintenance execution
- Refrigerant handling and environmental compliance
- Working within site permit and isolation systems
- Supporting site infrastructure including camps and facilities

What We're Looking For

- Trade qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic
- Experience in mining, industrial, or heavy industry environments
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance capability
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
- Ability to work within structured site systems

Mandatory Requirements

- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade Qualification
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- QLD Restricted Electrical Licence
- Full Australian working rights
