About the Role

As a Senior Estimator at company Constructions, you'll play a key role in developing accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) across a range of projects. You'll analyse design documentation, engage with subcontractors, and assess all cost-related elements throughout the enquiry, tender, and construction phases.



Your attention to detail and industry expertise will help deliver cost-effective solutions that reflect our high standards in construction.

What you'll do

Review client design briefs and produce +/-5% budget estimates using Buildsoft

Manage the full tender process: documentation review, VM opportunities, subcontractor engagement via EstimateOne, trade comparisons and cost summaries

Develop project clarifications, exclusions lists and risk/chance registers for tender review

Prepare project preliminaries and support contract handover to the construction team

Assist PMs with subcontract negotiations and variations

Maintain BOQs, comparison sheets, budget coding and benchmarking data

Mentor Cadet/Junior Estimators along the way

What you'll bring

Tertiary qualification in Construction or equivalent

Experience with Global Estimating, Bluebeam and ideally Mudshark for earthworks

Advanced Excel and Word skills

Sharp attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Confidence liaising with subcontractors and suppliers

A team-first attitude and high integrity
