HongDae Korean Restaurant & Bar, located in Melbourne CBD, is looking for an experienced and reliable Front of House Manager to join our team.

n

We are a busy Korean restaurant operating across two levels with approximately 80 seats. We are looking for a confident and organised manager who can lead the front-of-house team, maintain excellent customer service, and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

Position Details n

- Position: Full-Time Front of House Manager
n
- Location: Melbourne CBD
n
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience
n
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
- Immediate start available
n

Key Responsibilities nn
- Managing daily front-of-house operations
n
- Supervising, training and supporting FOH staff
n
- Preparing staff rosters and managing shift coverage
n
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
n
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints
n
- Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
n
- Managing reservations, table allocations and large group bookings
n
- Monitoring staff performance and maintaining service standards
n
- Opening and closing the restaurant
n
- Handling POS transactions,



cash reconciliation and end-of-day procedures
n
- Ensuring the dining area complies with cleanliness, food safety and workplace safety requirements
n
- Assisting with stock control and ordering front-of-house supplies
n

What We Are Looking For nn
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager, assistant manager or senior supervisor
n
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
n
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
n
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
n
- Reliable, responsible and punctual
n
- Good understanding of restaurant operations
n
- Current Victorian RSA certificate
n
- Fluent or confident English communication skills
n
- Korean language skills are helpful but not essential
n
- Full Australian working rights are preferred
n
