The Role
As an Automotive Accessory Installer you’ll install, configure and support a range of automotive electronic systems across dealership and fleet vehicles.
Your work may include:
- Dash camera and driver monitoring systems
- Fleet telematics and GPS tracking
- Reverse cameras and parking sensors
- Multimedia and infotainment systems
- Vehicle safety and monitoring technology
- 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
- Aftermarket automotive accessories and electronic equipment
You’ll be responsible for completing installations to a high professional standard,
carrying out diagnostics and fault finding, commissioning systems and ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop or dealership correctly installed and quality checked.
You’ll also work closely with the AutoXtreme Operations Team, dealership staff and customers to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and professionally.
What You’ll Bring
You may currently be working as an:
- Automotive Accessory Fitter
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Previous experience in automotive electrical installation
- Strong wiring, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working with vehicle electronics and aftermarket accessories
- Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology and relevant loom/harness electives(or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- A current Australian Driver Licensee
