Hoek Modular Homes is a family-owned and operated residential builder based in Lawnton, Queensland.
Specialising in delivering quality Class 1A homes along with Prefabricated Modular Homes, and Granny Flats using primarily using Elevated Floor Construction.
We are currently looking for a Labourer / Driver to join our growing construction team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, is reliable, practical and takes pride in getting the job done properly.
- Delivery work, including hand carrying and unloading materials
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Stock movement and organisation within our factory and yard
- Site clean-ups and general site labouring
- Assisting trades, supervisors and the wider construction team
- House splitting and preparation of modular homes for transport — full training provided
- General yard, factory and maintenance duties
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised and safe
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within the building or construction industry is preferred
- A current MANUAL Australian Open Driver's Licence
- A current HR Truck Licence
- A current Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one
- Construction Industry White Card
- The physical fitness required to undertake manual and labour-intensive work
- Experience and adherence with WPHSOwn basic hand tools
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Pride in their work and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
