About the Role

The Accounts Payable Officer team member is responsible for ensuring all invoices, including supplier and internal department claims, are processed accurately in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring payments are made in a timely manner. The position is also responsible for processing a range of other transaction including payment cards, and performing reconciliations, where required as directed by Monash Health policies and procedures.



The position takes responsibility for creditor accounts which comprise of invoices and payment requests and settling the accounts within the specified terms, as directed by Monash Health policy. Key result areas:

Act as a point of contact for all payment enquiries.

Liaise with Procurement, Pharmacy, Engineering, Health Technology and Capital Works Project and all other purchasing staff regarding purchases and payments.

Maintain and develop productive, qualified and courteous business relationships with suppliers, contractors and other relevant external organisations to Monash Health.

About You

Qualifications/registrations/licences:

Highly developed clerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products

Technical skills/knowledge/experience:

Knowledge in Oracle Financial

Must have a minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable Experience
