Auto Trans Australia is one of Australia's leading specialist automatic transmission workshops, operating a large, high-volume facility in Alexandria.

We specialise in transmission diagnostics, servicing, repairs and complete transmission overhauls across a wide range of European, Japanese, Korean and American vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced automotive mechanic to join our team.

n

The Role

n

We are seeking a full-time mechanic technician to join our dynamic team, with great hours - 5 days a week 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday

- Remove/Refit Transmissions
n
- Replace mechatronic
n
- Replace clutches and DSG Clutches
n




- Repair or replace worn or faulty parts
n
- Valve body removal/refit
n
- Cooling system repairs
n
- Use job cards/repair orders
n
- Communicate with staff in the in-house remanufacturing facility to ensure efficient workflow
n
- Must have an automotive mechanic background and technical knowledge
n
- MUST BE EXPERIENCED AS WE ARE A FAST-PACED WORKSHOP
n
- Must hold Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent industry qualification with at least 2 years industry experience.
n
- A valid driver's license
n
- MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
