We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Warehouse & Delivery Driver to join the Melrina team.

This is a hands-on, varied role combining warehouse operations, forklift work and customer deliveries. You’ll be involved across the full movement of our products – receiving and storing stock, picking and preparing orders, loading vehicles and making safe, accurate deliveries to our customers.

Melrina | Full-Time

Working as part of our warehouse and delivery team, your responsibilities will include:

- Picking and preparing customer orders using RF scanning equipment

- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently

- Operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment

- Receiving incoming stock and checking quantities, weights and product condition

- Ensuring outgoing orders are accurate and ready for dispatch

- Moving, storing and rotating stock appropriately, including monitoring ageing stock and shelf life

- Maintaining clean, organised and safe chiller, freezer and warehouse areas

- Completing daily forklift, equipment and vehicle pre-start checks

- Making safe and timely multi-drop deliveries to customers

- Checking deliveries against invoices and obtaining required proof of delivery

- Collecting approved customer returns and payments where required

- Completing and returning run sheets, PODs and other delivery documentation

- Keeping vehicles clean, presentable and ready for operation

- Reporting vehicle faults, maintenance requirements,



hazards, incidents and near misses promptly

- Following company food safety, WHS and operational procedures

- Complying with road laws, licence requirements and relevant Chain of Responsibility obligations

- Providing friendly and professional service to our customers

- Supporting the wider team as required to keep daily operations running smoothly

What we’re looking for

You’ll be someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a physical warehouse and delivery setting.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- A current MR or HR Driver Licence

- A current Forklift Licence

- Previous multi-drop delivery experience

- Previous warehouse, cold storage, food distribution or similar experience

- Experience using RF scanners, or the ability to learn quickly

- A good driving history

- Good attention to detail when picking, checking and delivering orders

- The physical capacity to safely undertake manual handling, including regular movement of cartons and stock

- Good communication and customer service skills

- A practical understanding of stock rotation, product quality and shelf life

- A willingness to work in chilled and freezer environments when required





- Unrestricted Australian working rights

You will also need to be willing to complete any required pre-employment checks, which may include a police check, medical/fitness assessment and drug and alcohol screening.

Safety matters

Safety is a core part of this role, not an add-on.

We expect everyone in our team to take responsibility for working safely, completing required pre-start checks, following safe manual handling and traffic management procedures, reporting hazards and incidents, and speaking up when something doesn’t look right.

As a driver, you will also be expected to maintain a valid licence and immediately advise your manager of any change to your licence status, medical fitness to drive, or other matter that may affect your ability to safely perform the role.
