Personal Care Worker (Full time) | Melbourne

About the Role

We are currently seeking a community-based Full-Time Personal Care Worker to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting clients to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship, while ensuring a safe, respectful, and person-centred approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, tidying, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Delivering high-quality personal care, including showering, toileting, grooming and dressing
- Monitoring and observing changes in client health or behaviour, and reporting concerns promptly to the care team
- Providing emotional support and meaningful companionship to promote client well-being
- Maintaining accurate and professional documentation, including progress notes and communication with team members
- During overnight shifts, conduct regular wellbeing checks, respond promptly to alarms, calls or distress, and provide reassurance

About You

You are a compassionate and capable Personal Care Worker who thrives in community-based care.

You will demonstrate:

- Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability, or Certificate III in Individual Support
- Previous experience as personal care worker (aged care, disability or home care)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Must be willing to travel throughout Melbourne - a company car will be provided

Mandatory Requirements:

- Current working rights in Australia
- Current Police Check (within last 12 months)
- Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to apply)




- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
- Current Victorian Driver's License
